Have you ever thought of working on a Food Truck?  The Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity's Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf (CEFS) program has an opportunity for the right individual!

As the largest direct service emergency food provider in Vermont, the CEFS serves over 12,000 people each year.  The Good Food Truck Assistant works to prepare and serve meals for the Good Food Truck and Good Food Trailer.  The work will require a flexible schedule and have a field component; evening and weekend hours required.


We’re looking for a highly motivated individual.  Successful candidates will have a High School diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of three years culinary experience.  ServSafe certification must be obtained within sixty calendar days.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; bilingual abilities are a plus and the ability to interact pleasantly and effectively with the public, staff, and volunteers.  Please view our job description:  Food Truck Assistant
