PIKE: CONSTRUCTION DIVISION:

Traffic Coordinator - Vermont:  We are seeking a safety minded individual to manage traffic control on various projects.
The specific location of projects will be based on workload throughout the season.  The responsibilities of the position
include, but are not limited to: proper set up and relocation of construction sign packages, directing the Traffic Laborers to
assist with sign and cone/barrel set up, and general maintenance of arrow and message boards, sign placement and
maintenance on various projects. This position will be based in Berlin, Vermont. Classification:  Seasonal hourly position.
Requirements:
 Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment.
 Must possess a working knowledge of state and federal construction sign/traffic control requirements and traffic
routing plans.
 Have a working knowledge of a flag person’s duties and the willingness to perform them on an as needed basis.
 Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
 The willingness to travel to other Pike locations throughout Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont when needed.
 Extended hours with possible night and/or weekend work as well as overnights.
 A valid driver’s license.

Distributor Driver – Vermont:  We are seeking several safety minded, self-motivated, qualified drivers to drive tack or
distributor truck with capacity of 3,000 gallons in a safe and efficient manner following all Federal and State regulations
while transporting emulsion to and from specified paving projects. Willingness to travel throughout the state with the
paving crew as needed is required. This position will be based in Rutland, Vermont.  Classification:  Seasonal hourly position.
 Requirements:
 Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment.
 A valid CDL-B license with a tanker endorsement is required.
 Minimum 1-2 years CDL class driving experience.
 Must be familiar with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules and regulations.
 Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
 The willingness to work extended hours with possible night and/or weekend work as well as overnights.
 The willingness to travel to other Pike locations throughout Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont when needed.

Reclaim Foreperson - Vermont:  We are seeking a safety minded, qualified, self-motivated individual to be the Foreperson

for a reclaim crew. The selected candidate should be familiar with all aspects of reclaiming operations and have the ability

to effectively lead and manage a Reclaim crew in the field.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: timely
communications with plant, shop, customers and management including knowledge of the Reclaim machine and other
equipment used during operations and assisting the crew in conflict resolution, communicating and driving down daily cost,
participating with the employee evaluation process, training new hires, and coordinating crew logistics.  This position will
be based out of Vermont.  Classification: Seasonal hourly position.
Requirements:
• Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two to three years of related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Willingness to perform administrative duties such as timecard review and approval, progress postings (daily
quantities) and keep a field journal.
• The willingness to travel to other Pike locations throughout Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont when needed.
• Extended hours with possible night and/or weekend work as well as overnights.
• A valid driver’s license.

Construction Estimator (Vermont):  We are seeking a safety minded, qualified, dependable and self-motivated individual to
support the Construction division.  This position is responsible for the full bid process including:  bid advertisement,
developing project leads, bid development, subcontractor- vendor solicitation, submittal requirements, project buyouts,
cost/revenue-analysis, change orders,  bid tabs analysis and assisting in contract administration and project management. 
This position will work closely with operations to assess and improve efficiency and capability with regard to projects and
other operations.  Must adhere to any and all state and federal regulations if applicable, as set forth by the US Department
of Transportation (DOT), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Mine Safety and Health Administration
(MSHA), or any other regulatory agency.  This position is based out of Berlin, Vermont.  Classification:  Year round salaried
position.
Requirements:

 BS Degree (Construction Management or Civil Engineering) preferred.
 Possess ability to read and interpret documents, and solve practical problems.
 Excellent computer skills including email, Internet, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and construction software.

 Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisor with other duties as required.
 Must display a courteous and professional attitude when dealing with co-workers and the public.

REDIMIX: CUSTOMER SERVICE DIVISION:

Customer Service Rep (Manchester, NH):   We are seeking a qualified, detail oriented, highly organized individual with
excellent communications skills to support the Dispatch/Customer Service Office in Manchester, NH.  Responsibilities will
include, but not be limited to; effectively communicating with all production personnel, fellow dispatchers and the
scheduler and/or Dispatch Manager.  Interface directly with customers, managers, vendors, and agencies either by
telephone, electronically or in person and build a rapport with customers and establish trust.  The selected candidate will
also be responsible for handling equipment and product deliveries.  Classification: Year round hourly position.
Requirements:
 Prior Dispatch/Scheduler experience including outstanding customer service skills.
 Ability to work in a fast paced, stressful environment.
 Good decision making skills and detail oriented.
 Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisor with other duties as required.
 Excellent computer skills with knowledge of current operating systems.
 Able to work hours needed and/or on weekends.
 A valid driver’s license.
