Screen Printing Teaching Artist

Burlington City Arts is currently looking for a skilled screen printer, with teaching experience, who is great with beginner up to expert students, to teach adult screen printing classes at our Pine Street studio.   Experience printing on fabric and paper is required as well as familiarity with photo emulsion and water-soluble inks.  Must be available Wednesday evenings.

Essential Job Functions

 

Teaching Artists will work in cooperation with BCA Staff to facilitate group fine art classes.  Teaching Artists must be able to create quality lesson plans, create supply lists within budgetary restrictions and provide an outstanding arts experience for customers.  Teaching Artists are responsible for the set up and cleanup of their studio spaces.

 

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements

 

  • Experience and expertise with screen printing is required.
  • At least one year of teaching experience with adults is preferred.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts or Art Education required.
  • Availability to work Wednesday evenings between 5:30-9:00pm
