Dirt Divas
We’re excited to include and continue the innovative adventure-based program Dirt Divas as a part of the VWW family of girls’ programs.
Dirt Divas, a 5-day mountain bike program for middle school girls, is designed to cultivate confidence, courage, and leadership through outdoor adventure and a supportive environment. The program combines a dynamic staff of positive female role models, technical skill building, trail rides, bicycle mechanics, environmental stewardship, community building, inner reflection, creative arts activities, and curriculum on subjects such as media literacy and body image. Program activities emphasize building physical, social, and emotional skills that will serve girls in their everyday lives. Fees are charged on an income-based sliding scale and equipment is provided to any girl who needs it.
Are you ready for an adventure this summer? Do you want to make new friends and have lots of fun? Are you ready for an experience you’ll never forget? Maybe Dirt Divas is for you! Dirt Divas is fun, challenging, and a different kind of experience for girls. You’ll learn everything you need to know to mountain bike with success and get to hang out with an awesome group of girls.
Dirt Divas is for all girls! No bike and no experience needed. Download our 2012 brochure here.
