STEM & Trades exploration for middle school girls*!

Rosie’s Girls® is a one-week summer day camp that helps girls and gender non-conforming youth develop grit, connection and expanded possibilities as they explore hands-on STEAM- and trades-related activities. Campers entering 6, 7 and 8th grades practice carpentry and engineering skills as they invent, design and build cooperative projects. It’s a safe, supportive, inclusive environment and emphasizes friendship, teamwork and healthy body image – with tons of fun woven in! A place where campers can get their hands dirty, take positive risks and try something new.

ROSIE's GIRLS STEAM

Rosie’s Girls® Weld is an exciting one-week welding day camp for campers entering 6, 7, and 8th grades. Campers learn the art of welding and engineering as they design and build individual and team-oriented projects.
 

Rosie’s Girls® Build is a one-week carpentry day camp that helps campers develop problem solving and critical thinking skills as they explore hands-on STEAM and carpentry related activities. Campers entering 6, 7 and 8th grades learn how to use carpentry tools as they design and build projects.

Rosie’s Girls® STEAM is a one-week STEAM exposure camp for girls and gender non-conforming youth entering grades 6-8. Throughout the week, campers gain skills and experience in a wide variety of STEAM fields, including welding, woodworking, printmaking, and forestry, through hands-on projects and activities led by trained professionals.

*Vermont Works for Women camps are open to girls and gender non-conforming youth.
