Vermont Green
Vermont Green may be able to help you start a career in a green industry through assessment, training, supports, job placement and follow-up services. Vermont Green is a diverse, state-wide, public-private partnership preparing workers for a variety of green jobs such as energy-efficient building, construction and retrofitting; renewable and clean energy; energy efficient and advanced drive train vehicles; energy assessments (residential, commercial and industrial); green construction; environmental protection; and recycling and waste reduction.
Who is eligible?
If you are a woman 18 years of age or older and are unemployed or currently working but need specific training or support services to upgrade your green job skills, you may qualify for Vermont Green. *Note: New enrollment for Vermont Green ends in May 2012. Some exceptions may apply.
