The Front Desk Administrative Assistant is a dynamic position that requires a high level of energy and commitment to providing consistently great service to all who enter our office or call by telephone. The Front Desk Administrative Assistant keeps work flowing at CHT by greeting all customers, tenants, applicants, members, donors, and community members in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, providing basic information when appropriate and making referrals to other staff members as needed. This individual is responsible for clerical and reception functions at the CHT headquarters office and carries out various activities in support of the CEO, COFO, CAO/HR Director including staff event planning, and regularly coordinates with other staff as needed.

Two year college degree or equivalent prior experience working in an office, retail, or similar environment strongly preferred.
Ability to speak multiple languages is strongly preferred.
Ability to manage time efficiently, effectively, and accurately prioritize daily tasks is required.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal communication, telephone, and listening skills required.
Strong computer skills and an ability to use office equipment required.
Must possess a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and work effectively independently and as a member of a team.
Must be dedicated to Champlain Housing Trust's membership based model of community controlled and permanently affordable housing.
