Passionate about the power of education? Join AmeriCorps and bring your vision and skills to the Governor’s Institutes of Vermont!

This twelve-month, full-time AmeriCorps role will have you reaching out into all corners of Vermont to communicate with motivated high schoolers and their teachers and advocates to engage them in GIV opportunities that change lives! You’ll use your outstanding organizational and communication skills to clear pathways for disadvantaged students to participate and your technological wizardry to help adapt award-winning programs for modern times. You’ll communicate with some of our 10,000+ alumni to solicit and profile their inspiring stories. You’ll spend your days writing, managing projects, communicating with outreach partners and alumni, conducting research, obtaining resources and funding support, and working independently within a close-knit team to make sure that GIV’s 2022 programs are successful and transformational for the hundreds of young Vermonters who attend.
