Counseling Coordinator

For The Putney School

The Counseling Coordinator is responsible for creating and sustaining the vision,
direction, and implementation of the counseling services at the school, and will work
collaboratively with the Health Office team. Successful candidates will have a strong
clinical background including proven experience providing comprehensive mental health
services and psychoeducational outreach to adolescents with a diverse range of identities
in a school setting.The Counseling Coordinator reports to the Dean of Students.
Responsibilities include:
● Administering culturally competent and developmentally appropriate clinical
services, clinical supervision and program oversight
● Building strong collaborative relationships with students, families, campus
educators and deans to support student health, wellness and positive community
engagement
● Strategic clinical case management, community referral and consultation with
support resources and health care providers
