Hazardous Waste Operator – full-time

For Chittenden Solid Waste District (CSWD)

CSWD is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist with the collection and processing of household hazardous waste and small business hazardous waste at the Environmental Depot & Rover.

The ideal candidate will understand chemical principles and regulations, have computer skills, be self-motivated, enjoy working with the public and be able to work independently in a physically demanding setting. Two years of related experience is preferred.

This is a full-time position (Tues-Sat, 7:30-3:30) with a starting pay rate of  $22.16/hour, or higher based on experience, and includes an excellent benefit package.
