Q.C. Inspector

-Inspect incoming components as required by OEM specification

-Conduct visual and measurement test to ensure consistency and integrity

-Complete applicable paperwork

-Prioritize workflow

-Maintain technical library

-Interact with vendors as needed

-Maintain a clean work environment, and comply with safety requirements

-Inform management when supplies are needed, or report concerns of potential issues

-Perform tasks as need per individual jobs

Required Skills

-Mechanical aptitude with ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language

-Ability to interpret manufacturers’ inspection/ repair manuals, (incl. technical drawings)

-Proficient ability in use of measuring instrument (i.e., CMM, micrometers, Vernier calipers, height gage,

calibrated pins).

-Use of computers, knowledge of Microsoft Office

-Excellent communication, team-work and leadership skills

-Ability to work independently, but function as a team player

-Meticulous record keeping skills

Required Tasks

-Inspection of incoming components to determine repair requirements and modifications per OHM

-Retrieval and interpretation of technical documents

-Enter data into computer system and create work order package

-Set-up and use of CMM

-Periodic inspection of components during various stages of repair

-Communicate technical requirements to shop personnel and vendors

-Final inspection of components and completion/ filing of applicable paperwork

-Assign traceability to incoming raw material, quarantine, and scrap components

-Completion, filing, and assurance that all applicable records are up to date

-Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
