Alison Lamagna


Director of Career Education & Gender Equity

Alison oversees our youth programming for middle school and high school girls, and gender non-conforming students. She manages our Women Can Do annual career exploration conference, our Rosie’s Girls camps and programs, and our gender equity work in career and technical education centers. Additionally, Alison leads our gender equity training and professional development for schools, tech centers, and employers. Alison represents VWW’s advocacy efforts around women’s issues in Vermont, such as equal pay, criminal justice, affordable childcare, etc. and sits on committees such as Change the Story and Vermont Commission on Women. Alison has worked in human services and social services since 2000. A New England native, Alison enjoys spending her free time cooking, hiking, kayaking, playing sports, and spending as much time as possible with her husband, 2 growing daughters, and their lovable pup - preferably in the woods or at the beach!
