It is with a mix of sadness and gratitude that the Board of Directors announces Jen Oldham’s departure as Executive Director of Vermont Works for Women (VWW), at the end of 2019. For the past two years, Jen has played a critical role in the development and success of the organization, and we will miss her and her inspiring leadership. Thanks to her dedication and accomplishments, VWW is on solid ground for the future. Over the next few months, we will be conducting a search to find the new VWW Executive Director. Jen is handing off the organization in a strong position and it is our priority to find the best individual to lead this dynamic and effective organization forward. We will post the job announcement today and ask for your help in identifying candidates who can help VWW continue to have a positive impact on the women and girls we serve.

It’s Been An Honor:
A Note from Jen Oldham

Although I did not foresee my tenure at VWW ending so soon, the twists and turns of family life spoke otherwise, and I recently submitted my resignation. It was not an easy decision, but I am extremely proud of all we accomplished during the past two years and appreciate and value every relationship I’ve built during my time as Executive Director.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported me and the organization during this time: staff, board members, and, of course, our partners and donors. Without you, the organization would not be as strong and vibrant as it is. I am honored to have led this incredible organization and will watch with excitement as it continues to be a leader, supporting and creating solutions to advance the economic potential of girls and women in Vermont.

To the brilliant future of VWW,
Jen Oldham
Executive Director, Vermont Works for Women
