Vermont Works for Women and Randolph Technical Career Center present a free career exploration event for female and gender non-conforming students in grades 6-9. Meet people shaping the technology landscape of Vermont at your local tech center and participate in hands-on activities. Explore career pathways and learn about courses and extended learning activities for your Personalized Learning Plan. Students do not need to be enrolled in classes at Randolph Technical Career Center to attend this event! This event is open to all girls and gender non-conforming students from the RTCC sending area, not just those interested in going to RTCC!

Schedule:
8:30 am – Arrival
8:30 am - 9:00  am – Registration, Bagels and Juice
9:00 am - 9:30 am – Welcome
9:35 am - 10:25 am – Workshop 1
10:30 am - 11:20 am – Workshop 2
11:30 am - 11:55 am – Lunch (provided)
12:00 pm - 12:50 pm – Workshop 3
12:55 pm - 1:45 pm – Workshop 4
1:50 pm - 2:20 pm – Closing Activities

Please Note:
Light breakfast and full lunch provided. 
Please send one chaperone with each school group.
Schools are responsible for transporting students to and from event.
Students may not participate without a signed parent/guardian permission form.
Please dress accordinglyIt is often chilly in the classrooms, and some activities may occur outdoors.
Students will be required to have closed-toe shoes and hair tied back
Students who attend are expected to participate fully in the activities and workshops.

Vermont Works for Women STEAM and trades programs are open to girls and gender non-conforming youth. Additionally, we strive to accommodate youth of all abilities.
