STEM & Trades exploration for middle school girls*!

Rosie’s Girls® is Vermont’s premier one-week STEAM and skilled trades day camp for middle school girls and gender non-conforming youth. Kid-focused trained professionals safely introduce campers to power tools and technical equipment to invent, design, and build personal and group projects. Our unique social and emotional development curriculum equips campers with Power Skills through fun activities that emphasize teamwork, creativity, and personal growth. Rosie's Girls gives girls a chance to get their hands dirty, take positive risks, and try something new!

Rosie’s Girls® Weld is an exciting one-week welding day camp for campers entering 6, 7, and 8th grades. Campers learn the art of welding and engineering as they design and build individual and team-oriented projects.

Rosie’s Girls® Build is a one-week carpentry day camp that helps campers develop problem solving and critical thinking skills as they explore hands-on STEAM and carpentry related activities. Campers entering 6, 7 and 8th grades learn how to use carpentry tools as they design and build projects.

Rosie’s Girls® STEAM is a one-week STEAM exposure camp for girls and gender non-conforming youth entering grades 6-8. Throughout the week, campers gain skills and experience in a wide variety of STEAM fields, including welding, woodworking, printmaking, and forestry, through hands-on projects and activities led by trained professionals.

Empower your year! Rosie’s Girls afterschool incorporates everything we love about Rosie’s Girls summer camp in a format that can be tailored to any middle school in Vermont. In Rosie’s Girls Build, Weld, or Solar, students will be exposed to a career field that is non-traditional to women through hands-on activities and projects in a safe and supportive environment. Rosie’s Girls afterschool also incorporates our trademark social and emotional empowerment curriculum which addresses issues of society and identity in age-appropriate and engaging ways. The Rosie's Girls curriculum will support the Agency of Education's guidelines on students' personalized learning plans, a blueprint for their future careers.
